Sarah Nichols is a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins with 15 years of experience as an employment attorney. She has an active advice practice, partnering with clients to develop and implement national and international policies relating to recruiting, hiring, background checks, training, performance management, leave, compensation, stock options, benefits, investigations and terminations. Ms. Nichols has defended employers against class actions and claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblower claims, wrongful termination and wage and hour issues. Ms. Nichols is a frequent speaker for trade groups and associations as well as private employers and provides compliance and liability prevention training for managers. She currently teaches mediation at Berkeley Law School as an Assistant Lecturer.
