Olivia Morgan is Vice President, Strategic Programs for Common Sense, the nation’s top organization rating, educating and advocating for kids around media, technology and child development. She is currently hard at work researching and developing guidelines around how media portrayals of gender roles impact kids. Previously, she worked with Maria Shriver as Senior Advisor to A Woman’s Nation, and Managing Editor of The Shriver Report, a series of book-length examinations bringing academic and on-the- ground expertise to exploring cultural transformation across multiple platforms and partnerships. As a member of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities, she founded that organization’s National Student Poets Program under the leadership of Michelle Obama. She is honored to serve on the boards of the New England Center for Children and the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.
