Future Corps Fellowship
Youth Speaks is launching a two-year Future Corps Fellowship program, designed to complement and expand upon our BNV Festival Future Corps program!

The Future Corps Fellowship aims to support the growth of emerging arts professionals through experiential learning opportunities.
Following a comprehensive application process, eight Fellows will be selected and placed at a host organization from within the national BNVI Leadership Cohort. Serving as full-time, salaried staff, Fellows will support their host organization in advancing its mission and its capacity to create safe spaces for writing and performance opportunities that elevate youth voices. In turn, Fellows will receive training and mentorship in five key areas of nonprofit business: leadership, marketing and communications, programming, fundraising, and finance and operations.
To be eligible for this two-year Fellowship, applicants must be alumni of the Brave New Voices Festival, including prior members of BNV Festival Future Corps, youth participants in the Festival, and/or other Festival personnel, such as housing coordinators and assistant coaches.

Full-time on staff at each host organization from April 1, 2016 - December 31, 2017

This Fellowship aims to support emerging arts leaders through immersive learning opportunities in the nonprofit fields of arts education and youth development. Fellows will provide valuable staffing support to some of the nation's leading arts education nonprofits while participating in ongoing professional development trainings to gain concrete skills in the areas of leadership, marketing and communications, programming, fundraising, and finance and operations.

BNV Festival Future Corps
The purpose of the BNV Festival Future Corps Program is to facilitate opportunities for alumni to continue to make a lasting contribution to the Brave New Voices community, while also learning valuable skills in producing and facilitating major events and the festival at large. In exchange for their contributions, BNV Festival Future Corps members are able to attend Brave New Voices free of charge, including room, board, and access to all festival activities.
Applications for the 2016 BNV Festival Future Corps will be available in January 2016.
