BNV Festival Future Corps

The BNV Festival Future Corps is a group of BNV alumni (19-24 years old) who attend the summer BNV festival to serve as hosts, organizers, late night facilitators and culture keepers.

The purpose of the BNV Festival Future Corps Program is to facilitate opportunities for alumni to continue to make a lasting contribution to the Brave New Voices community, while also learning valuable skills in producing and facilitating major events and the festival at large. In exchange for their contributions, BNV Festival Future Corps members are able to attend Brave New Voices free of charge, including room, board, and access to all festival activities.

2016 BNV Festival Future Corps Applications are closed.

Future Corps Fellowship

Youth Speaks is proud to announce the launch of our new two-year Future Corps Fellowship program, designed to complement and expand upon our seasonal BNV Festival Future Corps program! We received an incredible number of impressive applications and want to thank all those who applied for sharing their passion for this work with us.

About The Fellowship

The Future Corps Fellowship aims to support the growth of emerging arts professionals through immersive learning opportunities in the nonprofit fields of arts education and youth development.

Following a comprehensive application process, these eight Fellows have been selected and will be placed at one of the host organizations listed below. Serving as full-time, salaried staff for the next two years, Fellows will support their host organization in advancing its mission and its capacity to create safe spaces for writing and performance opportunities that elevate youth voices. In turn, Fellows will receive training and mentorship in five key areas of nonprofit business: leadership, marketing and communications, programming, fundraising, and finance and operations.
