Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective
Saint Louis Story Stitchers Artists Collective (501c3) promotes understanding, civic pride, intergenerational relationships and literacy through photography, videography, spoken word and hip hop.
Story Stitchers are artists-in-residence at Kranzberg Arts Center where they discuss, rehearse and perform. The Collective also runs the Stitchers Storefront Studio at 616 N Skinker for recording, editing and publishing. The Storefront Studio is subsidized by Washington University.
Stitchers Teen Council is a select group of twenty highly engaged middle and high school aged youth that work with the artists to realize the non-profit’s mission. Activities include grant writing, service projects, creative writing, and art making, planning and participating in themed discussions, rehearsing, performing, and documentary work.
