Since being introduced to Youth Speaks she has planted roots in the Bay Area as a youth advocate, performer and facilitator. She was also the youngest Youth Development and General Manager for Old Skool Cafe, where she worked for 7 years, training and developing programs that serve young adults coming out of the juvenile justice system. As a keynote speaker and performer Tammy has been invited to introduce the Mayor of San Francisco at his State of the City Address, speak alongside Congressmen at the National Prayer Breakfast conference, represent Old Skool Cafe at TedxGoldenGatePark and had a featured spoken word piece on CNN Heroes.
