
This month marks the beginning of our FREE After School Writing Workshops! Each workshop focuses on a different and distinct aspect of writing from fiction, playwriting, storytelling, and poetry to performance, desktop publishing, and improvisation. Taught by lead poet mentors, writers, spoken word artists, and activists, they are conducted throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Youth Speaks presents over 500 hours of after-school workshops to hundreds of teenagers every year. Each workshop is open to any teen 13-19 years old.
