We value authentic voice and enter our agreement with youth with a promise to honor the sincere expression of their ideas, ambitions and vision.
We encourage youth to make noise, to express themselves and to celebrate their voices. We believe young people have been silenced by systems, philosophies, and institutions designed by adults to regulate their behavior and limit their freedoms. Our pedagogical principles demand that we encourage our writers to be audaciously expressive in the language(s) most natural to them.
