COVID Protocol
As we continue to explore new opportunities to gather & build community within an ever-changing world, here is an update on the ways we will continue to practice harm reduction & remain accountable to your safety. In the interest of maintaining a safer environment for all participants, failure to abide by these protocols can result in ineligibility to participate in Youth Speaks activities.
Protocol for all In-Person Events* as of 2/15/23
High-quality masks required at all indoor Youth Speaks events. If you have tested positive for COVID or been in close contact with someone with confirmed COVID, please do not attend Youth Speaks activities until you are able to produce a negative COVID test 5 days after your most recent exposure.
Masks and Sign-In
For all events attendees *must* check-in at the proof of vaccination / COVID screening table
-
All event attendees must check-in at Front of House to sign in and support with contact tracing. Registration is required for all event participants. See the program page for instructions on how to register for each event.
-
All Youth Speaks audience members and staff must wear a high quality mask during indoor events to protect against the transfer of COVID. The only exception to this mask rule is for performers, who must be able to provide proof of a negative COVID test taken within 24 hours of the event in order to perform without a mask. High quality masks will be made available by Youth Speaks for audience members and COVID Rapid Tests will be available for performers at all events, as needed.
