Youth Speaks is back in Oakland with after-school writing workshops!
Calling all young writers, poets, performers, and storytellers ages 13–19. Join us to sharpen your writing and performance skills, craft your voice, and explore how your stories can shape the way people see themselves, their communities, and the world around them.
Write new work, share your perspective, and connect with other young artists in Oakland.

1st & 3rd Wednesdays @ Chapter 510: "From Page to Stage"
- A poetry workshop series centered on the power of storytelling, voice, and narrative. Explore slam, hip-hop, and performance while learning how to shape your experiences into stories that connect, challenge perspectives, and create change. Build your performance skills and learn how to take your writing from the page to the stage.
